group policy

I have a few users that logon two differnt app servers. On one server the need one policy applied and a different policy apllid to them on the other server. they are useing terminal server
and they log onto both servers at the same time. I was think of changeing local group policy on one server but It will effect everyone that log on ?

Hi,
This depends on what is being set in the policy. If you users are in an ou that has a group policy applied (including the default domain policy), that policy will always overwrite the local policy on the machine if there is a conflict. Also,as you realise, any local policy will apply to admins too There is a way round this, but it's a bit involved, check out microsoft.com/technet and search for article Q293655 ). You might try using the loopback processing fearure, which applies policybased on the machine over the user, check out microsoft.com/technet and search for Q260370 . Hope this hepls...
