Group Policy Password Policy

By netwrk_admn ·
I have a quick question. We currently enforce no password requirements. In fact, we do not regularly require users to change passwords. We are moving to enforce group policy password settings to require a change in password every 3 months.

Once enabled, will this require all users to create a new password or will it come into effect once the 90 days are up? Thanks.

We have executives to be exempt from this policy. I know policy is domain-wide and you cant control it within the OU, but can you provide exemptions instead of two seperate policies?

Passwords that don't expire

The user account password can be set to Password Never Expires. If it is set as Never Expires, the 'Maximum Password age' setting will be ignored.
