I have configured a GSNW share from NT 4 to a Novell 4.11 server using ‘novuser’ as the novell gateway acount. Creating the share was no problem, defined the share as ‘shar1’ on NT. Everything works great for ‘novuser’ on the NT side, he can see the share, update files on novell, the works. I have another user who is only defined to NT, ‘ntuser’ when ‘ntuser’ logs into NT, he can see the share in explorer, but when he tries to access the share, he gets a message, ‘user does not exist’. I checked the share permissions, ntuser has permissions specifically granting him full control on the share on the NT side. The ‘novuser’ account is defined in the Gateway on NT, has proper novell rights and is an NT administrator. When ‘ntuser’ logs in to NT, shouldn’t NT map the share using the ‘novuser’ account and his rights ? Why doesn’t ‘ntuser’ have rights to the share ?
Thanks in advance…
