GUI to see NT 4.0 services states?

by dfrost8 . Updated 24 years, 8 months ago

Last week I could not determine which service on a WinNT 4.0 Server was causing the service database to be locked. I searched the net and found that to tell I could open a cmd window, type in “????” and this would launch a GUI window showing me allthe services and what state they were in. I was to look for the service showing “start pending”, which I found, disabled and fixed my problem. My question now is the “????” above that I used to launch the very helful gui, I can’t remember the command and I can’t find it on the net this time. It’s not task mgr, it’s not properties of the network neighborhood, and it’s not the services icon in the ctrl panel.
