Help disabling Windows Firewall

When I go to disbale Windows Firewall I can only select “Don’t allow exceptions”. First off yes this is a domain computer. So this is probably a policy issue, but how in the heck can I find a switch to grant me access to firewall settings. Is it a local settings or a setting on the domain controller? Please help!!
