I’ve been doing some work on a couple 98SE boxes I have. My current one has a primary master (OS & apps) and slave hard drive (stored files) and the second box has only a primary, (all Western Digs). I tried to move my slave to the other box….changed the jumpers, hooked in power & cables, but I can’t see the icon in my windows interface. I looked in my CMOS/BIOS and it sees my primary 10 Gig & secondary 30 Gig, but no dice when I hit My Computer. I even tried “Adding New Hardware,” but windows couldn’t find it. I don’t recall doing anything different than what I’ve tried in the past. I’m being told by others something is wrong with my drivers, but I thought I shouldn’t have to add/change drivers with something so easy. Help me find my Hard Drive, PLEASE!
