Why would you NEED to get into the BIOS? Anyone who has the administrator password TO get into the BIOS and obtained legitimately, also knows HOW to get into the BIOS.

The BIOS on any computer are not for beginners. So, keep out of where you do not belong.

Reset Bios from Compaq nx6110

Remove the battery and to the powercord.
Remove the two screws that secure the keyboard. After removing the keyboard, remove the battery “RTC” to stop providing energy to epprom BIOS. After the upgrade or downgrade, or any repair, leave the Labtop for 5 minutes, without any source of energy.
Then connect only the powercord without battery and without the battery “RTC” of the Bios.
Connect the Labtop, and the RESET this done.
Re-reassembly everything.

The previous suggestion may work however if it doesn’t you will need to contact HP.
