Hey,
I have an HP with 256 stick of RAM. I checked what RAM I need online. I bot 2 sticks 512 each. I installed them and the computer was working fine. About 30 minutes later the computer just shut down and rebooted. Chkdsk ran and then I get to a page asking to boot from safemode, last known config etc. No matter what I pick I get a split second blue screen saying to protect your PC its shutting down etc..And it reboots. I can’t get into Windows. Same thing keeps happening. When I put in the old RAM it doesn’t even Work!!!
What the hell did I do wrong?
