What I am trying to do is setup a video card and software that will allow for a “double-wide” desktop. What I have is a Number 9 Technologies Revolution IV video card and the Hawkeye software. I am trying to configure this for an SGI 1600SW Flat Panel monitor. However the card works fine in win 2K, but the software does not install and to make matters better, I understand that the company went out of business. No Win 2K solftware was ever developed. If needed I do have a Multilink adapter from SGI that will allow me to connect any video card to the monitor. Does anyone know a combination of card and software that will allow for the “double-wide” desktop? I have also tried a matrox card which I know will do that but the software needed to do this is also not compatible with win 2K. Any sugestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
