Help with Nero

all of a sudden my Nero stopped working to burn DVD’s. You will notice in the picture below that it starts the burn process but under that where it should say “Cache of files complete” “Burning started at 4x” it does not say that. It will consistently fail at 1% even after restarts, but does not write anything to the disc so at least I am not losing each time I make an attempt. I am using version 6.6.0.3…Any suggestions besides upgrade?

Is there any other DVD burning software program that can burn ISO’s?
