Hey you oldies...

During the mid- or late-60s era there was a popular song which I cannot find with my search engine - so perhaps it wasn't all that popular really. One strophe began "I love everything, baby" and another "You and me look pretty good together". The meter was dadit dadit dadit dadit, the name of which I have forgotten. Have I awoken any memories?

Could it be

"Substitute" by The Who? It was remade later by Great White. The timing would be right. Or Stevie Wonder's "I Love Every Little Thing About You" from 1972.

"Substitute" it probably is,

at least for one of the lines I remember. 1972 is too late for the associated memories. Perhaps "I love everything about you" is from another song with a similar meter.
