There is a spy ware and invasion that has happened through the neglagent use of this machine by my grand daughter.
There is something called Spy Sherrif and cool web sites that has taken over the mahine. I have run Adaware, and SpyBot search and distroy in safe mode, yet Spy Sherriff keeps coming back.
Any suggestions?
I only have 50 pts left so thats all I can offer.

Spy sherrif is spyware what happens is it appears on your screen informing you that there is spyware on your system and click here to fix it it just gets worse from there.

Cool web search or CWS is a pretty tough one to remove if your not experienced.

Instead of trying to type down what you need to do i will link you to a site that will help you out.

If you can get on the internet get these programs from these sites

1, Adaware - http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

2, Microsoft antispyware
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/about.mspx Click on download the beta

3 CWShredder http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3019.html

4 Hijack this I can't find a link ive just gone blank sorry..

This link will help you out read them carefully

Hi,

Try Adwareaway, available for 5 days free from www.awareaway.com.
I don't know how adwareaway plays with ME, but I've had issues with Win98. Its OK on W2K and XP.
