I have a new Toshiba M8, with windows XP (Prof) SP2. The prob i am facing is that when I close the lid of the m/c, the system hibernates but then when i open the lid back up agian, nothing happens. Hitting the power button neithe rbrings it back to life nor shhuts it down!! I have to take it of the AC supply pop off the batery. When I start again, it shows that it is “resuming windows” and then the fist message i get is “windows is going to hibernate”. This continues till i press the power button for a good 45 secs for the m/c to shut down. Toshiba support has been sad to say the least. Can anyone help ??
