Hiding last login in WIn98

by josep_m . Updated 24 years, 12 months ago

I tried this advice from salisbury@mail.findlay.edu (https://www.techrepublic.com/forumdiscuss/thread_detail.jhtml?thread_id=15592&message_id=175183)

To remove a network login use the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft \Windows\CurrentVersion\Network\RealModeNet

Add the string “DontDisplayLastUserName” with a value of “1”

But It doesn’t work!
What I’m making wrong?

I have Windows 98 login on a Windows 2000 Server Domain. I want that the last user name will be hided. What can I do? It looked for an option in “Tweaki… for Power Users v 3.1.4” but I can’t find It.

Anyone can help me, please?
Thanks
