Hiding Names in Distribution List

By jpmontague ·
When I make a distribution list in Outlook 2000 or XP, is there a way to not allow all of the names in the distribution list appear on everyones mail message?

Yes, simply put the distribution list you have created into the BCC or Blind Carbon Copy Field. This will send to all on the list, but those receiving the message will not see the others the message was sent to. This is great if you send out newsletters, happy hour requests, etc...
Hope this helps.

Answer #1 is exactly correct. To enable the BCC field when you send a message, go under the view menu and select it.

Good luck!
