High Speed WAN

By zrclshn ·
What is the best way to setup remote access from a home PC (w/dsl) to an office PC (w/dsl)? Currently Useing PC Anywhere. Is there a better way? I believe RAS only works with dial up modems. Is this correct?

RAS only work on Modem???
Nope. As long as you are Using TCPIP, then should be fine. You can setup VPN - PPTP/L2TP in Win2k.

3rd party tools? I found that TWD Remote Anything is better than PCAnywhere, small program, fast and reliable.

Do have a try
Cheers!

High Speed WAN

I guess I need to be more precise of my needs. The president needs to have full access of her computer from home. i.e. Be no different at home than in the office. I have no experience in setting up a true WAN or how to set up VPN - PPTP/L2TP in Win2k. Any detailed information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
