Home Page/Site Security Certificate

By fonaset ·
I am runing win2000 professional with internet explorer 6.0. When I want to open some url address, it gives me the following messages "Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However, there is a problem with the site?s security certificate.

1.The security certificate is from a trusted certifying authority.

2.The security certificate has expired or is not yet valid.

3.The security certificate has a valid name matching the name of the page you are trying to view.

4.Do you want to proceed?

Yes No Details. In this case, some url like "http://www.genie.co.uk" will not accept my login password. No. 2 options sound funny. Now how can I rectify this problems?

Sounds like the security settings in IE are all amiss!
Have you tried in IE going into Tools menu then Internet Options then Security. Next set up a custom level of security.
Should do the trick.
