How can I find a file?

By ggee ·
I printed an analyst's article using the printer friendly option. All across the bottom of the printed page is a long string of characters. In reading the article, I see that there are other articles referenced that I want to access. Does the string of characters across the bottom give me a clue as to which newsletter I found the article in? Is there a specific way to search the TechRepublic web site for the article? Or do I have to go back through each of the newsletters I have saved in my e-mail folders, searching each and every article? Thanks for any help.

How can I find a file?

The fastest way to find this is to use the search feature and a specific, required, distinctive phrase from the article. The title works best, but you can use almost any unique phrase from the article. Type it in like this:
+"a distinctive phrase from the article"

The plus means that only articles with that exact phrase will be returned in your search. The quotes mean look for the whole phrase, not each word.
