How can I send my web page as part of an

By tlarlee ·
I am wondering how I can send my clients e-mail that includes a web page. I do not want it to be an attachment, nor do I want it to take up the entire view, but I would like the web page to appear as approximately 6 inches wide by 8 inches long andI would like to be able to have a message appear at the top.

Thank you for any suggestions.

What you need to do is to get a progra, like Snag-it (www.techsmith.com) that will allow you to "capture" an image of all or part of a screen. you then go to the web page in question and "capture" and image of the part of the screen you want to send.

You can then use a graphics program to reside/edit/crop the image until it meets your needs.

Then, using HTML mail (not ascii text mail), you can create a message with the image embedded that will appear on a person's screen along with any message -- provided they are using a mail reader that displays HTML mail.

If you need additional step-by-step help, let me know.

humbly submitted,
diabetic

First off, to do EXACTLY what you are proposing you want to do is a bad idea. Why? Security. Sending webpages through email (especially Outlook) is something that makes every low-life wanting to wreak havoc on your systems, smile.

The better way is to send the page as a link, as previously stated in this forum by another poster.

(Internet Explorer)

Click on Tools -> Mail and News -> Send a Link

However if you insist on sending the page itself..

Click on Tools -> Mail and News -> Send Page

Obviously the web page you want to send has to be shown in your web browser before you attempt to send it...as a link or a page.

Hope this helps.
