how can I solve the Kindle app black screen problem?

I have downloaded the PC version of the Kindle app for my PC and installed it. After installing it when I try to run it, the app shuts down within 10 to 20 seconds. I also tried reinstalling it after reinstalling it is showing a black screen and closes automatically.

What make/model computer? What version of MS Windows? Is this the only application or software you are having trouble with? Have you reached out to the application author or internet site?

I have an i5 11th gen pc with windows 10 pro operating system. I only have trouble with kindle all other software is running smoothly. I searched for google but didn’t find too much helpful.

Restart your Kindle to resolve intermittent issues such as a frozen screen or slow performance. Press and hold the power button until either a power dialog box appears or the screen goes blank. Continue holding the power button for 40 seconds, then release.

Hello Daniel,

The general fix for this issue is uninstalling your current Kindle for PC and re-installing it. 

You can try to download an older version of Kindle for PC and then install it on your pc and stop the auto-update immediately after installing.
