I would like to be able to generate a link in Excel which when clicked on would open a window in Outlook Express that brings up an old email that I have saved in an Outlook Express folder. Does anyone know how to do this? I have Office XP Pro 2002 and Windows XP Pro SP2 installed on my machine. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

1) Find the full name of your Outlook Express, default will be: C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe
2) In Excel, select the cell you want to create the URL, select Insert Hyperlink Text to display: Outlook Express (or anything you want) Address: C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe (or your outlook express address if different from the default)
3) Click "OK"
When you click the link, it may give you some security warning if you are using Excel 2003.
Creating a hyperlink to msimn.exe allows me to open Outlook Express from Excel just like I normally would from desktop. What I really want to do is open Outlook Express and have it open a specific email message which I have saved in a specific folder in my collection of dbx files. Is there any way to do this? If I can't get a specific message, just getting it to open in the folder would be helpful.
