How do I change rights on my inbox?

By epix ·
Hi all

after installing thunderbird mail, which I regularly use, I encountered a strange error message, while I tried to forward a recieved newsletter inline.

the about contents of the (german) message:
unable to send your message. change the rights of your (e.g.)inbox to (0):

I reinstalled thunderbird to get the same.
Fortunately I'd downloaded some mails with ms outlook express before and tried to fwd the mail from there -> you guess, I got a quite similar comment from OE. No problem to fwd the same thing as an attachment though! -> in both of the programs.

well, I am the admin of this machine, there is a freshly ntfs formatted hdd with a completely updated win2k sp4, oe6, tb 1.0.2, and I ran out of ideas.

does anybody have a suggestion, reformat excluded?

greetings - erich
