When XP starts up, you get an opening screen with the names of regular users, guest, administrator, etc.
I seem to remember that if you choose not to password protect that log-in, there is a way to go directly to the desktop without having to press the enter key to move beyond that screen.
As the sole user of my computer, I really do not have the need to password protect my startup sequence and would like to eliminate that step.
Can anyone assist.
