I have an old laptop that i bought in 2016. It has an i3-6006U and 12gb of ram. And because of the cpu i tried installing linux , but it ended up not booting. Is there any way to erase disk on bios? (I tried installing windows but it said that disk storage is full)

Try booting with a USB thumb drive

You’ll need a bootable USB thumb drive, with something that has
needed tools for formatting, partitioning, etc, Puppy Linux would
be a good choice, or alternatively you could create a bootable USB
installer drive from whichever Linux distro you were trying to install.
Most of the distros have instructions for doing this at their respective
web sites. -

To erase a disk without booting your laptop, you can use a bootable USB drive or a disk management tool. Here are two methods you can try:
Bootable USB Drive:
a. Create a bootable USB drive with a disk utility tool or an operating system installation media.
b. Insert the bootable USB drive into your laptop and turn it on.
c. Access the boot menu by pressing the designated key during startup (usually F12 or Esc).
d. Select the bootable USB drive as the boot device and press Enter.
e. Follow the on-screen instructions to launch the disk utility tool or operating system.
f. Use the disk utility tool to format or erase the desired disk.Note: unrelated spam link removed by moderator.
