how do I Fix File System Error (-805305975) in Windows 10 and 11

I keep facing this error from time to time. The error occurs when I open an image file through the Microsoft Photos app.
I will appreciate some help on how to fix this problem. If you have methods that have worked for you, please share.

gives so many solutions and recommendations that it seems that most of them won’t help.

So let me add my suggestion that surely will help unless it’s a hardware issue: use another program to view pictures. I can recommend free irfanview.

Since you’re asking about Windows 10 and Windows 11, I assume you have 2 (or more) PC’s and it happens on both. Am I right?
