Recently, I have experienced problems with the ATI 3d Rage Pro drivers on my NT workstation. I contacted Dell and they suggested loading the machine in vga mode. But when I do this, the display panel pops up and says that the driver I am trying touse is corrupted or missing. I go through the motions of installing the vga drivers-in vga mode as well as normal mode to get the same result. I have combed through the registry trying to get rid of any instances of this ATI software so that the system won’t look for it anymore Per Dell’s recommendation. Dell says this is the only thing short or reinstalling the O/S I can do to remove the drivers.
Does anyone have some other avenues that I can explore?
