How Do I ... print appointment details in Vista Calendar?

By IHateVista64 ·
I need to print the information in the Details pane when I print a Vista Calendar day?s appointments? On my old Win98 computer, Outlook 2000 allows me to use various Styles when I print the Outlook Calendar, including Calendar Details Style. I need to print the Calendar Details using Vista?s Calendar and I don?t have Outlook on my Vista 64 computer. For example, an appointment says: ?Grocery Shopping? but the detailed NOTES section tells me what items to buy. When I print out my daily calendar, I need the NOTES too!

You can't compare the two....

Windows Vista Calendar was not designed to be a replacement for Outlook. If you want the functionality that you had with Outlook, you'll need to purchase/install it.

Windows Calendar is designed to be published on the web and not necessarily designed for printing. Therefore, it probably does not have the 'print' functionality which you desire.

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't realize the Windows Calendar was designed to be published on the Web. I thought it was designed for home users who just wanted a private calendar for themselves and their family. I should have left out all that stuff about Outlook and just asked simply: "How do I print details along with the day's appointments?" I guess the answer is: It's not possible. Thank you again for your help.
