By Ldxrunner ·
Greetings to all, I have Windows 10. How do I remove a root files ? The files are in the temp folder. When I open one, the folder is empty. I did a restore point and nothing happened. I also did a Windows registry defrag, Windows registry repair and nothing happened. What else can I do ? Thank you.

Have you unhidden files/folders?

Just a thought...

If you haven't unhidden files/folders, might wish to try that. Course you should back-up everything since removing files can cause issues if you remove the wrong ones.

1: Login to control Panel and click File Manager.
2: Choose to open Web Root and Show hidden files.
3: Click and highlight the file or folder you want to remove in the File Listing.
4: From the top Toolbar, click Delete.
5: Click the Delete File(s) button on the pop-up box to confirm your action.
