How do I restrict Shutdown for TS users?

By Larry421 ·
This is my first Terminal Services install (application mode). When the users connect it works great. What I don't like is that they can access the ShutDown button of the server. How Do I restrict this function?

Goto Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy

Under Local Policies > User Rights

Change who can "Shut down the system".
You might also want to verify "Force Shutdown from a remote system" is set to Administrators only.
Good Luck,
Mike

I created a new OU. I placed the TS users in the new OU. Then I changed the User Rights. This has solved the problem THANKS.
