how do I show my distribution list in my contacts

By ttheodorou ·
hi we have a users who received a distribution list but would like to add the list in the contacts listing in order to send email to everybody in that list.
The list appears when they look at their contacts,(shown as a goup under the contacts list) but not in select names dialog box when sending new mail.

When you want to select that Particular Distribution Group, you have to switch to Outlook Contacts when it brings up the Global Address Book

have changed to outlook contacts but D list is not there. when you are in outlook\contacts the distribution list appears below the contacts icon as a separate icon. Does this makes sense?

Are you on Exchange?

by ThumbsUp2 In reply to thank you for your reply

If you're on Exchange, which contat list are you looking at? The one on the server, or the one on the local computer? You may have to select a different list in the TO selection box besides Outlook contacts. Look for another.
