How do I start DOS from the run Line

I am working on my system and I think it would be faster if I could use the run cammand. Is this even possible??????

Dos can be accessed by typing command or CMD,this applies to Windows 95,98,and ME

it's much more convenient when you can open a DOS command prompt from any folder with the mouse right buton menu. you need to apply a patch to do that, called "Command Prompt Here". you can download it from
http://www.microsoft.com/ntworkstation/downloads/PowerToys/Networking/NTComPrompt.asp

Iyou type cmd on a 2k system than you can get the command prompt
