For the most part, it is more a matter of preference and not which is better or worse. I find that the web sites work almost the same in most internet browsers. I have been using 2 different browsers since getting my current computer but only use 1 browser now. I don’t know why I insisted on doing so, and I find that it simplified a lot of things IMHO. If you aren’t sure which one, try using multiple browsers for a reasonable time frame and pick the one you like best or use multiple browsers.

I use Chrome, Firefox, Opera and once in a while Edge. All seem fine.

What did you use to determine what makes such better?

I meant which is better or worse in what people write about it, e.g. privacy, security, speed, how can you tell which is better or worse from these or other additional characteristics? Except for reviews, etc. Since they may lie all the time about confidentiality or similar, how not to get caught, etc.

If reviews can’t be used here.

Then you would do your own tests. You can’t take our word here on this.

For me, the browsers I listed are fine. But if someone were to worry about data leaks due to syncing bookmarks or such then they have a good reason to not use that feature or look to booting into a more secure OS/system like the TAILS OS.

Yes, I carry a bootable USB with the TAILS OS for my overseas travels. Here’s more -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tails_(operating_system)

I can’t guess how much privacy you need. I’ve found folk ask for or about privacy and then discover they use Facebook, Gmail, Tiktok and more!
