A colleague of mine designed a script-based backup (backup.cmd) in WindowsNT located at drive C. Every 12:00am this task starts to backup the target directories pre-point by him.
Now he already left the company and no phone communication with him and I have to manage up his work.
I found out this morning that his backup didn’t ran yesterday and I felt uncomfortable with it, because failure and crashes are unexpectable.
Since backup didn’t worked, I would have to do something about it. I tried to look for somewhat like Task Scheduler in Windows 2000 but found nothing similar with NT. Where can i find the trigger file that calls backup.cmd to run the backup.
Kindly explain to me what could be the approach of my previous colleague. Is there such a thing as silent backup.
