If a person wants to set a company, will he need ISO 45001 certification. Also, how does the ISO 45001 helps and ensures for the safety of employees?

No, the person doesn’t need a certification. But there might be circumstances where the company does need it. Ask your lawyer.

And read the document to see what the company should do.

After working on this and at companies with various ISO certs, I can write with authority it did nothing for employee safety. Management and employees can without any warning do something unsafe.

Most of these norms are rather abstract. It’s more about procedures and documents than about actual measures you take.

There’s quite a difference between, say, being responsible for the safety in your bookshop with 1 employee or in your 1000-employee chemical factory or your even bigger 150.000 employee Russian army fighting in Ukrain.
