How does one configure RRAS

By Shikely ·
I have a win2k server sp2 that I have installed RRAS on. I cannot get this server to accept incoming calls from my remote clients. The clients have been given dial-in permissions. When they dial, the server does not pick up.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

go to dial up networking folder and make a new connection to allow clients access new connection= (incomming connections)this is the first point of access to your machine and then RRAS will take care of the rest!

any problems post back here and i can take you through it step by step.

good luck!

If you have external modems, look for anything that says "Auto Answer" I have 2 US Robotics modems that have dipswitches on the back for Auto Answer. Once Auto Answer is enabled, there will be a light that says "AA" lit up. Any questions, just emailme!
