Role of Project Manager

by Mike Goodson In reply to How is the role of PM see ...

One of the most critical functions of the project manager is to hold time constrained frequent status update meetings which follow the agenda, address accomplishments and decisions, overdue next steps and upcoming next steps listing responsible individual, due date and reason not completed on time if overdue. When insufficient progress is made, risks must be identified and plans implemented to mitigate risks and effect on the project. These meeting notes must be distributed to all project team members within 24 hours.
