How keep W2K install image on hard disk?

By SciFiMan ·
I just rebuilt a laptop with W2K, that will spend most of it's life traveling the world away from the office. How do I set it up so that there is a folder or partition that holds the OS install, drivers, etc. so that if need be the user can reinstall most things (or everything) on the road if problems arise?

Back a few years at a previous company we had that set up for Win95 desktops but I wasn't an Windows admin there so I didn't notice how they did it.

Thanks,
David

Just copy the I386 folder off the CD and put it on your C: drive. It doesen't really matter where you put just as long as you know how to find it.
