How long do Razer Blade laptops last?

I was thinking to buy a laptop, but I am confused about how long it may last.

According to a blog post, it may last how you will use it. If you take care of it, it can easily last 5 to 6 years, but if you don’t take care of it. It will last only a few months.

Five to six years is rather long for a gaming laptop, if often used for gaming.

The compact thin models? Not long.

I often wonder why folk go for these as the life span is shorter than the bulkier models. My son started to have problems with his Razer after year 2. Then when he tried to run VR on it, that was the end. For him that one lasted 3 years.

My 2017 model is still going. Had the battery bloat which I replaced about a year in. I have some issues with the trackpad buttons. The charger needed replacing. The rest is mostly OK. This is with daily use of 8-12 hours for work and play.

I’m upgrading to the 2021 model because I need more performance now, but otherwise it held up okay.

With razer blade laptops you can enjoy a great gaming experience with a full Windows 10 OS, but the life expectancy is a bit shorter than other laptop brands. A razer blade laptop might only last you 3 years, and that is based on how you take care of the laptop, and not on what’s inside the laptop.
