How to add a disclaimer note in Exch?

By joycetm ·
Hello,

I would like to find out how I can include a disclaimer note in every outgoing message from the Exchange server?

Do I need a third party software to do this or does Exchange Server 2000 have this option built-in?

I would appreciate any feedback from anyone.

Thank you,
Joyce

If you are also using Windows 2000, you can do it with VB or VBScript following these instructions:

support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q317680
support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q317327

Otherwise you need a third party tool like some of these:

If you have the BackOffice Resource kit, and you are not afraid of the registry, check out

(there should be no space in the URL).
It only works with outbound mail, though, as it is an Internet Mail Service extensio.
