Know your market, your competition, and your customer.

Basically, you have to have the 'best' combination of cost reputation and quality.

You may need to low bid your first few projects to get established.

First of all make sure the project lies within your strengths.
Identify all that the project needs and all that you can give it.
If you can give more than it needs, there's no stopping you, if you just about meet the needs, you are better off not bidding for it!

you have to know what others are charging for there services in you area. Then you have decide how much profit do you want to make. Then consider can you beat them in quality and service then I would use 10 or 20 percent price cut on them once you get clients coming in and your name becomes known then you can raise your pricing the real clients that trust your work will stay others will leave.
