Burning CD on remote PC

by aplevey In reply to How to burn Audio CD on r ...

Ashok,

I have done this by using a remote control program which allows you to operate the remote PC from your desktop.

This works fine an you can burn CDs on the remote system including files from both the remote system and any other system on the network. I also use this to "share" a scanner over the network.

I have used Nero burning software to create and copy CDs in this way.
Freeware to use is:

client - Gencontrol - http://www.topshareware.com/Gencontrol-download-9507.htm

and
Server - Alchemy Labs Remote Control Pro -TightVNC.

Good luck.
