How to change the order of services star

    Locked

    by jinsong_li ·

I have some difficulties with my Oracle server (Windows NT 4.0). When server boots up, it starts the OracleSNMPPeerMasterAgent service after starting SNMP service. But after the OracleSNMPPeerMasterAgent started, the server cannot start SNMP service. I have to stop OracleSNMPPeerMasterAgent service and start SNMP, then start OracleSNMPPeerMasterAgent again manually. In this order, bothof them works fine. Is there any way that I can change the order of services start in Windows NT 4.0? I need the server to start SNMP before starting OracleSNMPPeerMasterAgent automatically when the server boots.

    Thank you.

Sure a quick and easy way is to set the servies to manual, make a cmd file with the correct service order ie

      net start “Service Name”

remember to put the service EXACTLY as it appears in the service applet.
Put it in your startup group
      Good luck
