How to combine 2 wireless routers if the lan of one is not working?

By rbschubert ·
I can configur the one router via my laptop but the lan is not working so can't connect to the primery router. Want to us the wifi as a AP so i can get signal every where in my home.

If the lan does not work ... I presume that you mean that the hard wired ports that are used for making a hard wired connection to other PC's does not work but you still want to use it as an Access Point, if this is the case then you have to disable the DHCP server in the setup from the wesite GUI in the unit that you want to use as an AP. By default most routers either wired or wireless are by default DHCP enabled from the factory and there can be only one DHCP server in the network.
