how to create search box in website

our company have some database content contact number and name. need to create a website for our company staff to search the contact number then the name will be show. How to do that?

  Many use SQL and PHP. Not something I’ve seen folk do in a week if it’s their first time. Since you have a company, work with your CIO/IT leads to arrange for outside consulting and programing since there are many security concerns to be addressed beyond the actual database work.

  Why a website? Why not just a program running on your file server? Or even a spreadsheet linked to a spreadsheet with that data on your file server?

  There are many different methods to add search boxes on different platform websites. I will suggest contacting a website developer or programmer for proper work. Moreover, what type of website you want to have? An HTML or WordPress?

  if you are using a WordPress website then
  1. you can add a plugin for a search box.
  2. With the help of the developer to add a search box with the help of HTML, PHP.
  
  You can add by only two methods
  1. if you have coding experience then add by the help of coding or not have experience can take help from other developers.
