Are they coming from the same internet address/email or random addresses ? If it is the same address, you will have to block them if your email doesn’t have an effective spam filter.

I don’t deal with them at all

I have my internet suppliers email address and a gmail address and both handle the SPAM just fine. I empty the folders out once in awhile but really pay zero attention to it…

I have recently found several pieces of good mail by looking at the titles and senders in my spam folders. These are admittedly only a small proportion of my mail pieces put in spam, but now I look at the spam folder of my ISP (AT&T) every day.

but, I have never missed anything of importance. I used to look at all of the important “Your account has extra money, better check now!, Open Immediately!” mail but it’s been a number of years as I realized I didn’t have an account there lol. I found out “Your Facebook acct. was hacked, you must take action immediately!” as well but, I don’t have a Facebook account. Not interested there either.

I am also getting regular spam emails in my inbox, just select them and delete them forever without opening them and wasting your time.

      chalessmith’s solution is only partial

How can I be sure whether something is spam before I open it? My present technique is to let AT&T classify stuff as it sees fit but look at the senders and titles in the spam folder every day to detect what is NOT spam. But some stuff I do not so detect may indeed be non-spam.
