how to disable the pop-up messages at the bottom of the IE 9 window?

By HenryPB ·
I am running Win 7 Pro-64 & IE 9 v 9.0.8112.16421. I would like to know how to disable the pop-up messages at the bottom of the IE window that tell me "only secure content is displayed" and that "I can increase performance by disabling some add-ons". If this is possible, can you tell me how to do it? Thank you.
Follow-up; I just found this article that gives you 3 ways to accomplish this objective, with very simple yet specific instructions. It definitively and completely answered my question.

Thank you Brian. That's 1 annoyance down, and 1 to go. Can you also tell me how to disable the "only secure content is displayed" and "unsecured content is being displayed" pop-ups?

Disabling IE9 performance advisor

Go to local group policies and from the all group policies tab, enable: Disable add-on performance notifications. That's it. You can also increase the time threshold for plug-ins to load form IE9 settings, but you might have to do it a few times to find the correct threshold.
