Is there any way to encrypt msde sql 2000 db-files. I’ve tried windows xp’s own, but it will not allow the sql-engine to access the files at all. I need to protect a field laptop in case it gets stolen. Basically to make sure that nobody can take the harddrive and put into another computer and read the info.
