If you don’t have experience, do you have any formal education? Otherwise, your chances are slim to none.

Landing an IT job without experience can be challenging, but it’s not impossible. Here are some steps you can take to improve your chances:
1. Education and Certification:
Get a Degree: While not always necessary, having a degree in a relevant field like Computer Science or Information Technology can significantly boost your prospects.
Certifications: Obtain certifications in specific IT skills such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Certifications can prove your skills to potential employers.
2. Hands-On Experience:
Internships and Volunteer Work: Look for internships or volunteer opportunities related to IT. Even unpaid or short-term positions can provide valuable hands-on experience.
Freelancing: Consider freelancing platforms like Upwork or Fiverr to offer your IT services. Building a portfolio of small projects can demonstrate your skills.
3. Personal Projects and Portfolio:
Personal Projects: Work on personal IT projects, whether it’s building a website, developing a simple app, or setting up a small network. These projects can showcase your abilities.
GitHub: If you’re a programmer, host your code on GitHub. It’s a platform where you can showcase your projects and contributions to open source. -

You’ll have to have the educational degrees and even then you won’t land in a lead position.
But what is this IT Job? Some of them are front line phone support where you take a question and look for a scripted response. The bar is set very low for that IT Job.
