How to protect my network against rogue IT Employee

    Dear colleagues,

I am working as an IT Manager in some company and I am going to replace another IT Manager, the other IT Manager might not back to the company due to a bad attitude and un compliance.

I am concerned that he might install some backdoor or spying software to be able to access the network in the future and sabotage things.

I don’t have experience in security as I am just starting with it and I don’t know what to do in order to secure my network and stop him from vandalizing after he goes home.

We are not going to buy any additional applications as we already have a firewall and all necessary security measures.

Please help me with some tips on how to protect my network and how to know if he installed any apps or backdoors. any articles or tips will be highly appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

Use only trusted antivirus, regularly configure system scans, keep your OS updated, always use encrypted networks, secure your personal information, Stay Up-to-Date on the Latest Attack, or contact the security code auditor to review your source code to identify if there are any security threats.
