How to "Re-Enable" Open With list in XP

By WeiTsu ·
Somehow/somewhere I must have disabled the Open With context menu in XP. Any ideas how to manually re-enable changes to open with?

Thanks, but guess I wasn't specific enough. "Open With" does appear on Rt-Clk. However, in the default XP behavior, the Open With's cascading menu should automatically list the appropriate apps.

Even though the registry properly lists the right apps under CURRENT USER-SOFTWARE-MICROSOFT-WINDOWS-CURRENT VERSION-EXPLORER-FILEEXTS, nothing shows in Open With's list for the "current user." (Works OK in administrator's acct, so must have inadvertently disabled changes for current user).

Where/How to enable privileges again for a user to modify/change open with settings?

Hope the above is specific enough.

Figured out that installing Stuffit Expander (for Win) interferes with XP's 'Open With'. So am just leaving Stuffit uninstalld for now until Aladdin can address this.
